Nursing requirements

Being a nurse is no easy task but let alone becoming one and having to take many courses that are very challenging for the average person studying to become one. it would usually take two years of prerequisites in order for you to even think about applying for a nursing program. in those two years you would have to take the basic classes like english and math to rigorous classes such as some of the most important classes to take and achieve it with at least a B or hire such as physiology, microbiology, and chemistry which by the way is not easy. 1 Becoming a nurse may take around six years to get a master degree to become one but if I want to have more responsibilities and especially a lot more money then it is good idea to specialize in a a specific area. There are many kinds of nurses such as a trauma nurse, trauma nurses treat patients in a state of emergency, and handle urgent situations where the cause of injury or disease isn’t yet known. They can work in hospital emergency rooms and other chaotic environments, and often need to work with with doctors, family members and other nurses. As a trauma nurse, I will be saving people’s lives every day. 1 Trauma nurses make around $70,000 in Califronia but it all depends where you live and how much they like to pay you. Although it sounds like a great way to go in the nursing field it is actually really stressful for the nurse since you will be dealing with the most critical patients such a person with a chopped body part, a laceration that caused the persons intestines to come out a bit, and many more gore like situations that you have to deal with and help them. You have to do all that plus more including how to deal with a patients’s death because that could affect you mentally and very emotionally. I believe this is a challenging career position to be in due to the fact that you have to do many things to along with the stress that comes with it but I love it when I feel my adrenaline pumpin in my body and this is what I have in mind for my future career.3 Growth outlook: Job growth will most likely be greater than 26% through 2020, the projected rate for all registered nursesIf I chose this path I would be making enough to make my future plans come true because after all they do make a lot and are very well respected.
